Fire Chief Jason Johnson is excited to announce that the New Centerville and Rural VFC in Somerset County has placed an order for a Pierce Saber pumper.

This pumper will feature:

• Cummins L9 450 hp engine
• seating for 6 in a raised roof cab
• 1,000-gallons of water
• New York style tank with low hose bed
• direct tank fill
• crosslays with removable poly trays
• all Hi-Viz 12V scene lighting
• OnSpot chains
• Waterous 1,500 gpm side control pump.

This will be the first Pierce for the department!
