The City of Pittsburgh Leasing Authority is pleased to announce the purchase of two (2) Pierce Saber Heavy-Duty Rescue vehicles for the City of Pittsburgh, Department of Public Safety, and Bureau of Emergency Medical Services.
These new rescues are identical and will become replacements for Rescue 1 and Rescue 2.
Both include PACCAR 510 hp motors, seating for 4, light towers, 22-inch front bumper extensions, Warn 10K winch, Whelen emergency and scene lighting, Side Roll and Front Impact protection, hands-free SCBA brackets, all vinyl CARE seats, Hi-Viz brow light, 18.5 feet non-walk in body, Amdor rollup doors, hatch compartments, Grover air horns, Q2B sirens, and all equipment mounting will be done at the Glick Fire Zelienople Fabrication Shop once the units are completed.
