Thank You and Congratulations to the Harrisburg Bureau of Fire and the Harrisburg Firemen’s Relief Association on their purchase of a River Raptor Jetboats XTR 1860 rescue boat!
The boat is an 18’ rigid inflatable design meeting US Coast Guard compliant construction. While being able to operate in shallow water, in open water the boat can obtain top speeds of 50 mph, powered by a BRP Rotax 1630, 300hp engine. The heavy-duty aluminum hull assembly has an additional half-inch of UHMW Polyethylene coating for added protection.
