Sam has more than 14 years of experience in the fire service, eight of those being a career firefighter for multiple agencies including McMahan Fire Protection District in Kentucky, the City of McKeesport, PA, and presently with the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire. He has dedicated much of his life to the volunteer fire service, most notably with the Fire Department of North Versailles and Holiday Park Volunteer Fire Department, holding ranks of Lieutenant and Chief during his time as a volunteer.
