GLICK Mobile Service Techs are ready to do pump testing at your location!
Glick Fire Equipment operates two Draft Commanders for onsite fire apparatus pump testing within PA, helping fire departments comply with NFPA Standards. Testing should be done annually to ensure your apparatus will perform as you expect it to.
BENEFITS OF USING MOBILE PUMP TESTING These units are an alternative to test pits. They use clean, clear water that is recycled during pump testing, instead of dirty water from an open water source that could harm the apparatus pump. The Draft Commander can pump test apparatus up to 4500 GPM, or pump test two trucks simultaneously.
Prepare – Allows departments to conduct pump tests per NFPA Standards keeping trucks in service; no need for driver overtime or pulling trucks from reserve Prevent – Pump damage from open water sources that have contaminates in the supply (sand, rock, trash) Recycle – Water used during testing
SCHEDULE WITH YOUR NEIGHBORS
Because we cover all of Pennsylvania, it can be a difficult task scheduling multiple areas. We ask that you consider working with neighboring departments in your region to coordinate your pump service testing. This allows our techs to service more departments in a timely fashion, allowing you to get back in service sooner. With each test, your department will be given a detailed report compliant to NFPA guidelines.
This service and others are also offered as part of our Preventative Maintenance services. As always, we service all makes and models of emergency vehicles. Scheduling your test now is suggested since service tends to get busier in the warmer weather.
