WRAFD unveils new ladder truck - Glick Fire Equipment Company

WATSONTOWN — Emblazoned atop the Warrior Run Area Fire Department’s new 39-foot ladder truck is a decal which reads “FDNY 343 Never Forgotten.”

Those words memorialize the 343 firefighters killed during the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attack in New York City.

Warrior Run Area Fire Department Chief Doug Funk said each of the department’s apparatus carry a decal which references the attack.
