Glick Fire Equipment is seeking a full-time, dependable person to assist mainly with the transportation of fire apparatus, ambulances and other specialty vehicles. Will also supplement with light building maintenance. Successful applicants must be dependable, organized, personable, adaptable and even-tempered. A PA Commercial Driver’s License with air brake and tanker endorsements is required. Candidates must have the ability to travel long distances, coordinate multiple tasks and be willing to fill in where needed. Industry knowledge and mechanical skills are preferred.
The Service Writer is responsible for the accurate and efficient flow of paperwork and information throughout the service department. This position works with both internal and external customers, in addition to scheduling and managing workflow in the shop. Must be able to work independently and be self-disciplined in a busy environment, plus work together with a team with other highly motivated and skilled employees.
This position requires excellent communication and customer service skills. Knowledge and experience in the heavy truck for fire apparatus industry required. Mid-level experience with Microsoft Office programs – Word, Excel & Access. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Technician experience and a PA CDL with endorsements is desirable.
The Parts Clerk position is responsible for all parts sales. This includes over the counter, incoming phone calls, faxes and email requests. The parts clerk will work alongside other customer service employees to achieve optimum efficiency and excellent customer service. Regular responsibilities include: Answering incoming parts calls, handle Pierce parts issues (excluding warranty parts). This position will also be responsible for shipping and receiving parts, verifying outgoing and incoming parts, cycle counting and more. This position will perform other tasks and duties as assigned. Individual will maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, quality work and professional appearance.
