Glick Fire Equipment is seeking a highly motivated mobile service technician in the Lancaster County PA area. We are seeking career-minded candidates who are experienced, dependable and customer-focused. Must be able to work independently, travel, possess excellent communication skills and most of all have a passion for working with the emergency services community – firetrucks, ambulances, and all makes & models of emergency response vehicles.
To grow with our expanding business, Glick Fire Equipment is seeking a full-time, hard-working paint & body combo technician for the new Zelienople body/paint shop. Experience with paint matching, collision repairs and general restoration procedures on high quality vehicles is essential. Experience with heavy truck collision repair and Sikkens paint is desired.
Personal characteristics include self-motivation, punctuality, honesty, high attention to detail, creative and personable. The technician must be able to work independently, be highly adaptable, show pride in your work, and have a keen eye for quality & detail.
Seeking a full-time Shipping & Receiving Clerk to organize and coordinate all parts movement within our Bird-in-Hand facility. Tasks include verifying, packing, unloading, receiving, stocking, and even assembling of parts while upholding our values & vision. This self-motivated individual should possess excellent problem solving skills, be adaptable, able to work independently and be computer proficient in MSOffice.
A high school diploma is required. PA Commercial Driver’s License is desired, along with a high degree of customer service experience.
We are expanding and adding another parts department clerk to our team in the Bird-in-Hand location! Individual will be an integral part of both the internal & external parts sales, parts quoting and ordering. Must possess a high level of communication and customer service skills, and be adaptable to ever-changing responsibilities and conditions.
Successful applicants for this position must be dependable & trustworthy, organized, even-tempered and possess a keen eye for details & accuracy. Experience with Microsoft Office products is essential, along with in-depth industry knowledge.
The Service Writer is responsible for the accurate and efficient flow of paperwork and information throughout the service department. This position works with both internal and external customers, in addition to scheduling and managing workflow in the shop. Must be able to work independently and be self-disciplined in a busy environment, plus work together with a team with other highly motivated and skilled employees.
This position requires excellent communication and customer service skills. Knowledge and experience in the heavy truck for fire apparatus industry required. Mid-level experience with Microsoft Office programs – Word, Excel & Access. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Technician experience and a PA CDL with endorsements is desirable.
